Hello, Susan!

I am very interested in your webinar. Some time ago I tried to employ user-centered design principles in a software company and set up a small UX and usability department. I could not realize everything I intended to do. Big budget, large account and importance of a product can make a company implement user-centered design practices to the development process. But how should a small firm (10-30 people) with small projects apply such methods? I hope to get some ideas from your webinar.

Susan, I would also like to ask you on your experience of working for Adobe. I have some ideas, actually add-ons, for the products. Whom in Adobe should I better write on this? I would highly appreciate if you could give me contact details of such person.

Thank you!

Say hello from Russia to Shailesh Manga from Optimal Usability who did a very interesting talk in Moscow.

Hi Pavel-

Glad to hear that you're interested in this topic. I certainly agree that it's a challenge to get companies to do this. The advantage that you often have as a smaller company is that people take the need that much more seriously (because of competitive pressures), rather than it just being something that a big company 'throws money at' because they have to. In any case, I'll try to make sure that I talk about things that are you can particularly do in small companies. If I forget for any reason, please be sure to ask during the questions!

With regard to Adobe, I'd have to give some thought to who you should contact. It would definitely depned on what kind of Adobe product you're talking about add-ons for. Unfortuantely, I wasn't there long enough to really get to know alot of the company outside of the Enterprise area. In any case, depending on the kinds of things that you're thinking about, it might be better to go to one of the Adobe certified partners rather than Adobe itself...

Looking forward to knowing that you'll be on the other end of the webinar this week! And I'll send your best to Shailesh!

Susan
